OUR ENVIRONMENTAL PHILOSPHY

Our philosophy is that each and every one of us needs to commit to a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle by actively reducing our carbon footprint. This was and is an ongoing major consideration in our philosophy at Hepburn Spa Pavilions; we have endeavored to create a luxury and stylish Villas that are eco friendly and with a little involvement from you a more sustainable.

Our aim is to create a sustainable environment with out compromising luxury.

A heavenly nights sleep is assured in your king size bed, a choice of individual king size single is also available. Complete with Sealy Posturepedic pillow top mattress, all beds are fitted with 100% goose down non-allergic donnas and pillows and 100% cotton sheets. To enhance the experience your bedroom is individually air-conditioned and fitted with LCD TVs. Bathrobes and house shoes are provided.

Each bedroom comes with its own ensuite, featuring a two person Hydro Spa, spacious walk-in shower and toilet. Each guest is provided with a Hand made cake of Cleopatra 100% essential oil soaps and Dead Sea Rock Salts blended with natural essential oils for your bath.

Gas log fire in living area, split-system heating and cooling in living area and both bedrooms.

Sorry, no pets.

Our aim is to supply only organic produce, however on the odd occasions this might not be possible with the odd item due to supply.

Ideally located just off Main Road in Hepburn Springs, close to Peppers Springs Retreat and the Mineral Springs Reserve. 4 km to Daylesford GPO.

ECO FRIENDLY CREDENTIALS

• Organic provisions.
• Gas and electricity from an accredited Greenpower source - Origin
• Sub floor insulation.
• Soundproof insulation in all walls and internal floors used for its added insulation qualities.
• Fly wire screens and doors. To minimize the use of air condition and to allow fresh country air to circulate through out the Villa

• Energy efficient appliances.
• Built on stumps to lessen the footprint of the building.
• Drought tolerant plants throughout the garden, which is heavily mulched.

• Minimal use of down lights
• Ceiling fans on upper levels to maximize the effectiveness of the heating/cooling of the Villa’s
• Flow regulators on all water outlets.
• Hot water on demand (No heating of water in tanks)
• Timber floors hand stained using 100% non-toxic products.
• Maximum use of natural light.
• The majority of the building materials used were plantation timbers; the exterior Ecoply walls have proven themselves in both environmental and architectural terms.

GOING FORWARD

We are continually reviewing all aspects of the accommodation, including those contracted to assist us in the sourcing of new eco friendly products.

• Worm Compost for food scraps and other items that decompose (Producing compost for the garden)
• Recycle bath water - (Awaiting approval from council)
• Solar paneling when it becomes both more efficient and affordable
• Replacement of down lights and other high-energy forms of lighting with low energy alternatives when they become available.
